Jenna Ray is a Kenyon College Class of 2027 student studying Chemistry with a minor in Anthropology.

Research interests: I'm interested in circular economy chemistry, polymerization/depolymerization and the recycling system.

Previous research experience: CASCADE Scholar in the Getzler lab, summer science scholar in the Getzler lab. Active in Getzler lab from summer 2024 onwards. I implemented a new, safer, greener method to create our monomers.

How I got started: I got started by researching which labs were available via the CASCADE summer research program. I was most interested by Professor Getzler's work, as it combined environmental work with chemistry. I met with Professor Getzler in person to talk and his lab seemed like a good fit for me. I was accepted into the CASCADE program and have continued my lab work since then.
