Noel Tumbasz is a Kenyon College Class of 2027 student studying Chinese and Political Science.

Research interests: I’m interested in U.S.-China relations, Chinese advanced technologies and their intersection with the military and geopolitics, and Chinese influence in Eastern Europe. Also interested in researching the Taiwan question, particularly from the perspective of advanced semiconductors and geopolitical risks.

Previous research experience: Individual research on the Taiwan question and some help for professor Bai with researching the integration of AI into language learning.

How I got started: I got started mostly with the help of professors.
